Trail Dust Town is proud to be the home of Pinnacle Peak, the original Cowboy Steakhouse here in Tucson. Pinnacle Peak opened in 1962 and quickly became a staple of the Tucson culture with its unique Old West atmosphere and family-friendly attitude. Locally owned and operated, our restaurant still serves the best steaks in Tucson and cooks all of them over real mesquite wood. Our steakhouse is best known as the birthplace of the Cowboy Steak, a delicious cut from the short loin cooked over an open fire. The service is quick and friendly, and for many of the guests, our restaurant feels like home. Our steakhouse has a diverse menu offering steaks, brisket, pork ribs, chicken, and vegetarian dishes, as well as a children’s menu.

A trip to Pinnacle Peak is not complete without at least stopping into the saloon to take a look at a 1890s faithful bar. The Silver Dollar Saloon features delicious cocktails, local draft beers, and a selection of fine wines. You might even decide to grab something to whet your whistle while heading back out to explore Trail Dust Town.

And remember, NO TIES ALLOWED!!
